I've never been a fan of Famelika and I was rather indifferent before the change in their Dimartino. This is an album, their, very well received by critics and the public of aficionados. An album that left me rather unmoved, while recognizing in some great artistic peaks.
I tried to go to their live stripped of any preconceptions about them, eliminating all my previous criticism and try to assess their performance exclusively on the stage. As it should be. I must admit that it was a much anticipated concert in Catania, but penalized by the monumental feast of St. Agatha that has virtually paralyzed the entire center and caused many defections.
on stage is certainly the presence of Simona Norato what stands out most, with the elegance of the movements made even more fascinating by the naturalness with which he can switch between keyboards, guitar, percussion and then also to the xylophone and accordion. Certainly, the backbone of the music of Dimartino, he can find his epic explosion in "Wanted soul," the most beautiful song with the refrain of the last years of music production.
